Kids mad...

I don't have many friends either, Ashley. Kids made fun of my skin tone, and as I grew up women would stare at me and the moment I smile, they roll their eyes.

At times I felt like my relationship with Jesus has placed me even more as an outcast. My family and former best best friend think I'm weird for spending time in church, while church folk become uncomfortable when I talk about Jesus. It's a lonely road....

I guess I'm learning that it's a devoted person in the Lord that wants to go deeper in relationship. It takes faithfulness and loyalty to be there for one another. I believe that Jesus wants this for his church and even though I don't see it in the church I'm in, I can't give up on it.

You are blessed with a husband and children that you are able to show love and kindness. May the Lord continue to bless your family and bring people in your life for refreshment and encouragement.

What a tribute to your husband...and to your Savio...

What a tribute to your husband...and to your Savior!
